Welcome to my holding page!

Welcome dear visitor to my corner of the Internet. I’m afraid there’s not much here to read, I never was particularly good at blowing my own trumpet, but since you are here, please allow me to draw your attention to some things:

Bluebells Day Centre

Bluebells Day Centre is a charity in Henley I founded in 2019 that provides respite care for people living with dementia. Please take a little time out of your busy day to learn a little more about Bluebells and perhaps even play with the fancy little Donation Widget I made and implemented as a WordPress plugin on the Donating to Bluebells Page. To test the widget, simply choose an amount, enter your details and follow the on screen prompts. Thank you so much.

Domestic Networks & WiFi

Although I’ve enjoyed a long career in Software Engineering, I began my career installing network infrastructure in office buildings that were being renovated. Running the cables through walls and between the floors, wiring in all the sockets and testing the connections.

From time to time, I’ve installed networks or networking equipment in houses for friends, but with people’s increasing dependence on reliable Internet, word of mouth began to spread and so, together with my business partners, I started Thames Valley WiFi…so if you live in, or within about 15 miles of, Henley-on-Thames and your WiFi is always letting you down, take a look at our WiFi and Networks in Plain English page to see if we can help you and Get in Touch for a free consultation.

Walk Henley

During COVID I began exploring all the Public Footpaths, Bridleways, Woodlands and Nature Reserves within about a 12 mile radius of Henley. I worked out dozens of safe, off-road, walking routes, both Point-to-Point between Henley and neighbouring towns and villages and Circular Routes that took in all the most interesting places or incredible views I found along the way. The results of this unplanned hobby can be found on the Walk Henley website where I still add new routes from time to time.
